Covid-19
Unfortunately, due to the current restrictions, our volunteers are unable to perform their usual duties. We hope to be able to allow one volunteer at a time into our hub once it is safe to do so in the future.
How to Become a Volunteer
If you have been supported by Women’s Aid and are no longer in need of as much support then you may wish to give something back. To become a volunteer you can speak with your worker who will give you more information about NAWA volunteering. From them you can request and fill in a volunteering application form.

However, you don’t necessarily have to have been through the service to become a volunteer. If you are interested in helping out you can still fill out a volunteer request form. You can contact us on 01294 602424 or email: volunteering@nawomensaid.co.uk.
What Does a Volunteer Do?

Volunteers are involved in a number of things including:
- Promotion of North Ayrshire Women’s Aid through events/stalls etc
- Facilitating group work along side staff
- Making promotional films
- Being available to support and promote Women’s Aid with anything new that might come up
